Cedar Point!!

Heading to Cedar Point tomorrow. Looks like gorgeous weather!! I can't wait. It's been 3 years since we've been. Really silly since we're only like 40 minutes away...we had planned on going last year, but weather kept us away.

Father's Day is excellent at The Point. Crowds are usually much smaller than normal b/c people do "family" things on Father's Day...and since M and I have no fathers anymore...it's perfect.

Father's Day is also "Gay Day" at the Point. This also keeps crowds down by keeping homophobes away (which is just fine with me...), and it makes for WONDERFUL people watching!

Gallery

I've installed Gallery on my server and absolutely LOVE it! I'm going to use it for the new version of Ay-ziggy-zoomba.com that's going to go live on 7/1 and I'm using it here for all of my pictures. I'm adding to it every day. If you have a website and want to organize and share your pictures, this is a great program/script!

Powerful....

I know in my heart that man is good.
That what is right will always eventually triumph.
And there’s purpose and worth to each and every life.

Ronald Reagan

I have lots of memories, being a child of the 80's, of President Reagan. When it was announced that his health had "changed" on Friday, I started remembering back to some of them. The biggest was playing for the President's visit in Stony Ridge. We, the Woodmore band, got to play along the tracks and see President Reagan on his whistle-stop train tour in 1984. It was cool then and it's cool now!

The other image that stood clearest in my mind was an image of President Reagan holding up a Bowling Green State University football jersey during a speech/talk at BGSU. I even remembered it was #84 (at the time worn by a receiver named Mark Dowdell). Yesterday, in the Toledo Blade, they reprinted that photo. It completely made my day!

Getting closer!!

I just booked 3 nights here. I'm so pumped! It looks gorgeous! Riverview room!

I also think we're going to do this while we're there, but I still need to find out a little bit more about it.

I don't believe it...I love the Pistons!!

Well, 10 years ago it would have been blasphemous to say what I just said. Things change though, the Bad Boys are gone and the new Pistons are all about defense. Rip Hamilton is great, Rasheed Wallace is a new player in his new setting and Ben Wallace is just about my favorite player in the NBA right now. The finals against the Lakers should be pretty interesting. Not a bad matchup actually!
