Wordly Wise

Couple of new things for those wordly wise among us...

A great website of common misuses of the English language (such as my all time pet peeve "I could care less"...) is at http://www.wsu.edu/~brians/errors/errors.html.

Another great little tool I've found recently is from m-w.com, a long-time favorite site of mine. They now have a dictionary toolbar available for Internet Explorer.

Yesterday was our 9 year anniversary! Hard to believe we've been married for 9 years. We went out for dinner last night and it didn't go very well. LOL...went to J.Alexander's, and while I liked the rattlesnake pasta I got, Maryellen didn't like her meal at ALL. I don't think she liked anything about the whole evening :-( Oh well. Maybe we'll try again tomorrow night.

I'm going in to work really early tomorrow to do some server maintenance. Hopefully all goes well. Our servers are a few patches behind, so it's time to catch them up a little.

9/11 -- The only thing I'll say about it is that I don't think they should ever stop replaying those images. People forget how terrible it was...how scared everyone was and how awful it made us feel. It unified the nation. That unification is gone after only 2 short years. People don't care anymore. It's sad...

Your so write about that there grammer thing. I could of used that alot, but you could care less.

Wow...doesn't that just drive ya batty?

"could of/should of/would of" is one of my biggest pet peeves....and the whole "you're/your" thing...."it's/its"....irregardless...

*sigh*

Oh yeah, Happy Anniversary! :)

Congratulations on your anniversary! Tina and I are celebrating our 11th next Thursday. Wow, that is about 12 more than anyone thought we could do!

As for 9/11, I agree. So much sadness, pain, fear, anger, and love forgotten way too soon. I personally hope we all remember how we felt and how badly we need one another.
