So long...
Well, unfortunately, they've decided to pull the plug on Thackeray's Books a few weeks earlier than they had originally planned. Most of the employees will be moving over to the new Borders books at the mall, so they can't keep Thackeray's open and train the employees at the new store at the same time. :-(
Today is the last day they'll be open, so I think I'll head over there on my lunch hour. 35% off of everything. Maybe I'll find one last treasure...

Didn't see you Sammy... When I was there, the lines were to the back of the store from both registers. I picked up a "Modding Mac OS X" and a travel book of the Pacific NW. Pretty good buys at 35% off, plus, I had them ring them up separately so I got 2 50% off coupons to the new Borders store when it opens! :-)

I didn't make it over there until 5:30 and by that time parking was limited, the place was packed and the lines were the same, too long for me.
