Congrats Jason!!

Congratulations to my buddy Jason Cash and his barbershop quartet, Odds On. They took first place in the Johnny Appleseed District of the Barbershop Harmony Society!!

If you like barbershop at all, check out their performance here:

Oh yeah, if you don't know Jason (AKA. Pissant) he's the second one in from the left...the baritone with the goatee. :-)

The only thing better than ME on TV....

...is a Diana Krall concert on Canadian TV!!! Pretty much the same concert I saw in Toledo, with a few different songs and she's wearing a different outfit.

And an added benefit (and you truly can't appreciate this if you don't live in the Toledo market) is that there are NO POLITICAL ADS!!

Maryellen keeps complaining about DK's hair... She does look a little shaggy I guess...but COME ON, it's DIANA KRALL!!!

"Is the kindness we count upon,
Hidden in everyone?"

==============================
EDIT

HOW COOL!! Elvis Costello is on stage with DK now...this is the greatest concert ever on Canadian TV!

Migraine, your graine...

Well, I'm home sick today. I watched the baseball game last night and something was kind of naggingly annoying...a little white spot in my vision that kind of twinkled... I thought nothing of it and went to bed. Then I woke up at 3 with a migraine. Vision blurred...head just killing...light and sound super sensitive... I hate these things!! I think this is only about my second or third in a year though, so that's way better than they used to be. That little white spot last night was the aura before the migraine. Very weird...

So, I just took an ambien and hope it'll knock me out until this is gone.

I forgot to post the link to the video of the FOX36 story. It's available at http://www.ay-ziggy-zoomba.com/downloads/FOX36-WEB.wmv It's 7MB, so if you're on dial-up...think twice. :-)

Ugh...I just remembered we're supposed to meet Laurie at Margaritaville tonight... LAK, if you read this...email me, OK? Or call my cell and leave me a VM. I don't know if that's going to work tonight anymore. :-( But I do still need to get you your computer back.

A great movie and Mup's observation

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is a fantastically messed-up movie!! You've got to check it out! Jim Carey is AMAZING in an out-of-character role for him. Kirsten Dunst is...well...she's Kirsten Dunst!! And Kate Winslet is super cute as the folicularly fickle Clementine... I don't even really know how to describe the movie, but as soon as it was over, I wanted to see it again! If you haven't seen it, do so! Being the optimist and the idealist I am, this is a fantastic movie if you believe in being destined to be with someone.

Kris had a great post today regarding sex-offenders' eye-wear. Check it out!

Baby I'm a STAR!

Well, the FOX36 TV crews were at my house the other night to interview me regarding my ay-ziggy-zoomba.com website. They're doing a piece on sports message boards and how they have become a legitimate news-source. Apparently I'm an expert in that field now! How COOL!! So if you're in the Toledo market, tune into tonight's FOX36 newscast after the presidential debates. My story should run as just about the last thing during the sports, probably right around 11PM.

Speaking of the presidential debates...now, listen up here candidates! I have decided I will vote for EITHER candidate if he is willing to close one of the last two debates with "Peace and Humptiness forever." It's that simple!
