She was awesome!!

Went to a vocal recital of a friend at BGSU last night. She was just amazing!! Maryellen and I took another girl from our church to see/hear Leslie and another girl. They each sang about a half dozen songs. Leslie was by far the superior singer. I had heard her sing at church and was impressed, but to hear her and see her perform songs she had worked on much more than the church songs...I was just blown away!

A week from tonight is the Faculty Jazz Ensemble...kind of an annual event that I absolutely LOVE. M has to work, so I'm hoping Ed and maybe some others will be able to go along with me, but if not, I'll go alone. I've done it before.

THEN the Saturday after that is Jane Monheit in concert at BG. It's a music-a-licious week or so for the G-man!!

Sorry to post this here, but I couldn't find a quick link to send you an email.

You know what's even odder than finding a website that has, "May I mambo dog-face to the banana patch?"

The feeling you get when you run across a webpage where someone actually notices that you've found their webpage with the exact quote you're looking for, compounded by the fact that it's such an odd quote to begin with.

You're awesome man!

[probably old news by now. But I'm floored that you would even notice. And well, it's probably getting you a lot of google hits by now, since each person that finds the link, is making you "The DEFINITIVE source for: "may I mambo dog-face to the banana patch NEWS"

Get that kind out of here...give him a special test!

Dood, what if girl singing was in Matrix?

I'm looking forward to Wednesday night, I'm all about it. Assuming I can make the time to go and all. I'm sure you'll hear about why. As far as the "music-a-licious" week goes, I agree. Although mine includes the LCJO instead of Jane Monheit. While I would much rather "see" Jane, LCJO is much much more the style of music I'd rather listen to. Not that I'd deny Jane.
