150,000 Miles!!!

WOO HOO!!! This morning, on my commute in to work, my truck...my trusty, faithful 1994 Chevy S-10, rolled over 150,000 Miles!! I never thought it would make it that far. Now my goal is 200,000! The amazing thing is I'm still on my original clutch!! It's had a new starter coil, a couple of exhaust systems and most of the front suspension replaced, but other than that, it's been a GREAT truck. I think it's all because it's purple!

I just realized that means I could have driven around the earth at it's equator 6 times!!!

Kewl!

Congrats, man! The Purple Beast rolls on! Like a rock, even! I think I spent, at most, $300 on maintaining my S-10 in the 5 years and 80,000 miles it had on it. I think the only "major" thing I did was new brakes. Good little rides, I tell ya!

I hope my truck makes it that long. But I think I'm going to have to rebuild the transmission this winter.
